The Times free online archive200 years worth of The Times appears online and for freeThe Times has unveiled its new free online archive which contains almost every issue of the British newspaper for 200 years. The Times Archive includes more than 20 million articles, photographs and adverts from 1785 and 1985 with only about 100 issues missing. The archive covers events such as Queen Victoria's coronation 1838, the Crimean War 1853-1856 and Captain Robert Falcon Scott's expedition to the Antarctic 1912.
